Why is it that hosting has some of the strictest identity verification requirements?
I tried to get hosting and Vultr, and it’s just been nothing but headaches.
They requested ID, credit card photo, and signed documentation – Sent.
Then they tell me they want more with a photo of me holding the ID. The way they demand it makes me feel as if I am the criminal, and they’ve been nothing but rude.
It’s kind of surprising to see that such large companies don’t have the very basics of customer service down, at least have some decent SOPS in place.
